Slums are common in developing countries and create a big social economic challenge, though they accomodate a big number of the population that could not have afforded the demanding urban lifestyle.

This is photo is taken from Karamoja in North-Eastern Uganda. The Karamojong or Karimojong are an ethnic group of agro-pastoral herders. They put up strong fences to protect their animals and families for other warriors.
